Our venues are busy, energetic environments. Team members may work across different areas depending on the needs of the venue and the training they have completed.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your role, your responsibilities may include:

· Welcoming customers and helping them enjoy their visit

· Taking bookings and payments

· Serving food and drinks

· Supporting bowling, parties and other attractions

· Keeping the venue clean, safe and well presented

· Responding positively when customers need help

· Working closely with colleagues during busy periods

· Following company procedures and safety requirements

· Helping create the friendly atmosphere Disco Bowl is known for

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience is helpful, but it is not essential for every role. More importantly, we are looking for people who are:

· Friendly, approachable and confident with customers

· Reliable and ready to work

· Comfortable in a busy environment

· Positive and willing to help

· Able to work well as part of a team

· Keen to learn and develop

· Flexible about working evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Our venues can be extremely busy, so you will need to remain calm, helpful and focused when there is plenty happening around you.

Our Management Roles

We recruit Assistant Managers and Deputy Managers across the group.

These are hands-on operational roles for people who enjoy being visible on the floor, leading from the front and taking ownership.

You will support the General Manager with the day-to-day operation of the venue, lead the team on shift and help maintain strong standards across customer service, team performance, safety and commercial results.

Depending on your experience and the level of role, your responsibilities may include:

· Leading shifts and maintaining consistent operational standards

· Supporting, coaching and developing the venue team

· Delivering a welcoming and memorable customer experience

· Handling customer concerns confidently and professionally

· Supporting recruitment, induction, training and performance management

· Managing cash, banking, stock and opening and closing procedures

· Maintaining a safe, clean and well-run venue

· Helping to control costs and improve commercial performance

· Supporting local marketing and community engagement

· Taking responsibility for the venue in the General Manager’s absence

What We’re Looking For

We would like to hear from people who have:

· Management or supervisory experience within hospitality, leisure, retail or another busy customer-facing environment

· A practical, hands-on management style

· Strong communication and people-management skills

· The confidence to make decisions and take responsibility

· Good organisation and attention to detail

· Experience of cash handling, stock control and opening or closing a venue

· Commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives a successful operation

· The ability to remain calm and effective when it is busy

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required

A personal licence would be an advantage, although we can support the right person in working towards one.
