Discobowl SALES MANAGER

Sell fun for a living.

We run big, loud, feel-good entertainment venues packed with bowling, mini golf, laser quest, karaoke, arcades, bars and diners. Birthdays, work nights out, team socials, first dates, family chaos, random Tuesdays that turn into brilliant memories… that’s our world.

We’re looking for Sales Managers to get out there and shout about it.

This is not an email warrior role. We want someone who loves meeting people, talking to businesses face to face, building proper relationships and getting groups excited about coming to Discobowl.

You’ll be the person who makes the phone ring, the diary fill up, and the party bookings roll in.

What you’ll actually be doing

Getting out into the local area, meeting businesses, schools, clubs and community groups
Showing people around the venue and helping them picture their next big night out
Turning enquiries into real bookings, not just nice conversations
Working with the centre teams to create brilliant packages for groups
Bringing energy, ideas and a bit of personality to how we sell ourselves
We need someone who is

Confident, chatty and not afraid to start a conversation
The kind of person who can talk to a CEO at 10 am and a kids’ football coach at 3 pm
Excited by hospitality and entertainment, not just “sales”
Organised enough to follow up and close the deal
Motivated by results and earning proper commission
Experience in hospitality, events or sales is great, but personality beats paperwork every time.

Newport ASSISTANT MANAGER

The Role:
We’re looking for a confident and reliable Assistant Manager to provide maternity cover. The expected start date is mid to late December. You’ll support the day-to-day running of the venue, lead shifts, and help keep standards tight across service, safety, and operations.

This is a hands-on role, so you’ll need to bring energy, organisation and a steady approach to supporting the General Manager and wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead shifts and support the General Manager with daily operations.
Motivate and support the team across all departments.
Handle cash, complete end-of-day procedures, and support stock control.
Deliver excellent customer service and be a visible presence on the floor.
Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
Contribute to commercial performance through good planning and team engagement.
Your Profile:

Experience in a supervisory or junior management role in hospitality, leisure or retail.
Reliable, organised, and able to lead by example.
Confident with stock, cash and closing procedures.
Personal licence holder preferred, or willing to work towards it.
Strong communication skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

• Can start soon and are looking for regular part-time hours

• Welcoming customers and helping them get the most out of their visit
• Serving drinks and food
• Keeping the venue clean, tidy and safe throughout the shift
• Supporting the team at the bar, reception, lanes or arcade
• Helping create a fun, positive atmosphere for everyone
